There is a concrete marker post along the trail (just below the observation point) which shows the direction to the base of the falls. It is a short trek, but the trail is mostly overgrown. However it is not difficult to navigate and find the base. Very few take this venture off the main trail so chances are you could have the area all to yourself, it’s all dependent upon the time of year and the time of day.
